In late 2007, after having been seasonal campers here at Chamberlain Lake for three years, Mike Reed and Roland Soucy acquired the Campground. Previously a glazier by trade, Mike, his wife Sam and their family have been camping for the past 15 years, beginning in a tent and traveling throughout Connecticut and beyond. Roland, who owns a construction business, and his wife Kim have also been campers for years, so when the opportunity to run the campground presented itself when it went up for sale, the two families could not see anybody running it but themselves. They have learned a lot over the past few years and are looking forward to continuing to make the camping experience a great one for all of their visitors- camping the way it should be.
